Ronni E. Farris, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. Dr. Farris was born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma. She moved to Norman to attend the University of Oklahoma for college before attending OU for both medical school and residency. Since moving to Norman for college, Dr. Farris knew that it would be her forever home. She loves the Norman community and the surrounding towns of rural Oklahoma.
Dr. Farris has a passion for her practice and patients. She strives for her patients to feel seen, heard, and cared for with every office visit. She routinely addresses her patients as “friend” in the office, because she cares for her patients as she would a friend. She believes her patients should leave the office knowing they received quality and compassionate care. Dr. Farris takes her role very seriously and is constantly reading and learning so she can educate her patients and provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based medicine. She has never viewed her position as a “job,” but rather as a calling to help people. Helping others has been her lifelong dream, with women’s healthcare at the forefront of her mission.
Dr. Farris has been married to her husband Marty for 12 years. Together they have two children, Anna and Matthew, and two dogs, Cooper and Bailey. When she’s not serving patients, she loves spending time with her family, reading, painting, baking, watching movies, and playing games with her friends while drinking her famous margaritas.
Cheryl is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. She holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Oklahoma City Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science from Oklahoma City University, and a Masters Degree of Nursing Science from Graceland University. She is also certified as a Surgical First Assist and in Aesthetics. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 16 years prior to accepting a position with Dr Farris in March of 2020.
Cheryl was born and raised in Norman, OK. She has been married to her husband Don for 27 years, and they have two sons Jacob and Samuel. She loves animals and has 3 horses, 3 cats and 1 dog. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, and she and her husband are in the process of renovating their 80-year-old farm house.
Cheryl dreamed of being a nurse since childhood, and fell in love with women’s health while attending clinicals for college. She witnessed her first delivery and knew this was the field of nursing for her. “I absolutely love my patients, and am so blessed to get to participate in all aspects of their care.”
Bonny Stephens, Medical Assistant, has been in womens healthcare since 1998. Her first encounter in this field was as a unit secretary at Renaissance Womens Hospital in Edmond. She then trained to be a Labor and Delivery Surgical Tech in 1999 continuing to work in this role and loving it for the last 22yrs. She was blessed in April of 2021 with the opportunity to continue her love for womens healthcare in the clinical setting working alongside Dr. Farris and Cheryl, NP. Her strong faith and desire to help others is a huge part of her heart and she strives to find whatever resources, words of encouragement, care or any means possible to help facilitate this for her patients. She also has a soft spot for all things baby and little ones and will not hesitate to entertain or cuddle when necessary.
Bonny was born and raised in Oklahoma. She has been married to her husband and best friend, Corey , for 28 yrs and they have three beautiful earthly children, Dillon, Dak, Samantha and one precious heavenly child, Emma. In her spare time she loves to read, watch movies, bake, spend time with her friends, family and being involved with her church community. Her and her husband love to travel when they can and enjoy trying all different types of food locally and on the road.
Bonny’s passion to care for others has been nurtured and continues to be nurtured working alongside those that share that passion. The skills and knowledge she has acquired along with her strong desire to organize allows her to provide the best care she can to all those she encounters. Thru her own personal experience she has become a strong supporter to those struggling thru loss and an advocate of Parents Responding to Infant Death Experience. “My faith, love for helping others and building relationships is what keeps me ticking.”
Misty is an ARDMS registered medical sonographer with 18 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor’s degree specializing in sonography at the University of Oklahoma. Misty has honed her ultrasound skills in a variety of specialties, but has a special place in her heart for women’s health. She especially loves being able to show mamas and families their growing baby while providing a comfortable and memorable experience.
Misty was born and raised in Utah. She moved to Oklahoma as a freshman in high school, where she met and later married her high school sweetheart Ryan. They have been blessed with five children –ALL BOYS! She also has a dog, a cat and currently 6 chickens! Misty loves spending time with all her boys, traveling, kayaking, going to estate sales, painting and repurposing furniture.
Misty has a passion for serving others and always knew she would go into healthcare. She especially loves how ultrasound combines an artistic and technological way to noninvasively image inside the human body. “I love my job and want to get the best images possible for every patient.”
Jamie Gay, receptionist and office manager, was raised in Tuttle, Oklahoma. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health and a minor in Communication from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. After graduating from college, she got a job with a renewable energy company based out of Minnesota as a Site Safety Coordinator. For over ten years she traveled the US building largescale wind farms, solar farms and solar gardens. In 2013, Jamie met her husband, Clifford, while working in Raymondville, TX.
They got married in Clifford's hometown of Potosi, Wisconsin in July of 2017.
For their first few years of marriage, they continued to travel with their three four-legged fur babies: Bentlee, JezzyBelle and Penny.
In April 2020, Jamie and Clifford welcomed beautiful twin girls, Charlotte Lynn and Caroline James. It was through this pregnancy and delivery that Jamie and Dr. Farris got to know each other and became friends.
Jamie has never worked in the medical field before, but she has loved learning about women’s health and meeting all of the women that come into the clinic.
Her personal experiences with infertility and miscarriage have given her a deep empathy and connection to our patients struggling with these same issues.
Outside of work, Jamie loves to travel – especially to places with water! Her favorite destination is Wisconsin where her husband’s family lives. She enjoys boating on the Great Mississippi River during the summer months and playing in the snow in the winter months. At home, she enjoys having her family and friends over for dinners, game nights, and pool parties. Above all, she loves spending time with her husband and twins.
